Peer Leaders

We are currently seeking a dedicated, responsible young performer between the ages of 14 and 18 to serve as a peer leader for our upcoming camp: The Little Mermaid.

This is a great opportunity for older campers to participate in Stagebugz programs at a discounted rate while getting hands-on experience with the ins and outs of putting on a show. Peer leaders are performers who are enrolled and cast in a camp session, and they additionally act as a mentor and role model for their castmates.

Student leaders may be responsible for leading warmups or games during downtime, reviewing materials with younger cast members, and helping campers catch up on material they might have missed or need additional help with. Depending on their interests, they may also have the opportunity to work with camp instructors on directing a scene, teaching music or a piece of choreography, or working with technical elements. They will not be required to put in extra time outside of camp hours, and they will participate fully in the camp's activities.

Students accepted into the Peer Leader Program will have tuition waived minus their camp's non-refundable deposit of $225. One student will be selected per show. Interested applicants should fill out the application below (with parent/guardian permission) to the best of their ability by April 15, 2024. Applicants will be notified of a decision by May 1, 2024. Don't hesitate to email stagebugztheatre@gmail.com with questions!
