Student Leadership
Ages 12-13: Descendants, July 10-14
Ages 14-16: Mary Poppins, June 19-30
The student leadership program is a great opportunity for older campers to learn more and get experience with the ins-and-outs of putting on a production. Student leaders still participate fully in camp, but they also serve as role models and mentors for their peers. Potential responsibilities for these leaders may include rehearsing material with younger campers, helping campers catch up on things they missed due to absences, leading games or warmups during downtime, and helping with props and costumes. Student leaders may also have the opportunity to assist with directing a scene, teaching music, choreographing a song, or working with technical elements (i.e. sound, lighting) if they are interested.

Student leadership applications open on January 23 and close on April 1, 2023. Two leaders will be chosen for each camp, and applicants will be notified of whether or not they have been chosen by April 17. Tuition is waived for student leaders, minus a $100 material fee. Leaders may be asked to arrive early or stay a few minutes after camp, but there are no additional time requirements. Previous theatre experience and/or experience with kids is encouraged but not required to apply.
