Positions Available
Music Director: "Scenes and Songs From Wicked"
Rate of Pay: $600 stipend
Dates: June 2-6, 8:45 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
Location: Columbine United Church, 6375 S Platte Canyon Road
Job Description: We are hiring a music director for Wicked-themed teen summer camp! Candidates should be at least 18 years of age, be able to play piano and read music, and be comfortable teaching vocal techniques to middle- and high-school-aged students. Preference will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's Degree or higher in music. Responsibilities include teaching music from the show according to a set schedule, helping students of all experience levels grow as singers, and coaching students through more difficult songs. The music director will also assist with general teaching tasks throughout the day, such as leading games/review during downtime, running sound cues during rehearsals, and supervising student groups.
Teaching Assistants: 2025 Summer Camps
Rate of Pay: $360 for 4-hour camps, $540 for 6-hour camp
Dates: Hiring 1-2 Teaching Assistants for each of the following week-long camps:
-"Scenes and Songs From Wicked": June 2-6, 8:45 AM-3:15 PM (students in grades 6-12)
-"The Lion King": June 9-13, 8:45 AM-1:15 PM (students in grades K-5)
-"The Sound of Music": June 23-27, 8:45 AM- 1:15 PM (students in grades 2-9)
Location: Columbine United Church, 6375 S Platte Canyon Road
Job Description: Seeking teaching artists to help create fun, supportive, and uplifting musical theatre education this summer! Candidates should be at least 18 years of age; have prior experience teaching in the performing arts; enjoy working with kids; and have a general understanding of theatre, music, and/or dance. Responsibilities include assisting the lead instructors with all camp activities, including but not limited to check-in and check-out, leading games during downtime, notetaking and review, supervising lunch/recess, and helping students with behavioral regulation and conflict resolution. Opportunities for teaching blocking, choreography, or music are available if candidate is interested, but not required.
Interns: 2025 Summer Camps
Rate of Pay: $100 transportation stipend; college credit available
Dates: Selecting 1-2 Interns for each of the following week-long camps:
-"The Lion King": June 9-13, 8:45 AM-1:15 PM (students in grades K-5)
-"The Sound of Music": June 23-27, 8:45 AM- 1:15 PM (students in grades 2-9)

Job Description: This summer, we also have positions open for high-school- and college-aged interns who are interested in gaining teaching experience, learning more about children's theatre, and helping give kids a great experience! Candidates should be at least 14 years old by the start of camp, be currently enrolled in high school or college, demonstrate a passion for theatre/music/dance, and love working with kids. This is a training position in which interns will assist with production needs, serve as mentors for the campers, lead games or review with small groups, and help teach material or workshops.
