FALL in love with theatre at Stagebugz! Our fall line-up includes exciting programs fit for every kid's age, interests, and schedule! Performers of all experience levels will hone their abilities, learn new skills tailored to their interests, make new friends, and work towards a fully-staged, public performance! As with all Stagebugz shows, every participant in a production class will have a featured role with at least one line (for plays and musicals) and solo (for musicals) and relatively equal stage time. Tuition is all-inclusive (no surprise fees from Stagebugz!), and need-based scholarships are available. So, whether your child is Broadway-bound or new to the stage, celebrate the joy of theatre with us this spring!
Scholarship and Grant Applications for those unable to afford full tuition are available on the FINANCIAL AID PAGE .

Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus
Mainstage Mini Musical: Grades K-6
Wednesdays, 5:00-6:30 p.m.; September 3-November 12
Columbine United Church
This Fall, kids and tweens in our Mainstage and Mini companies will combine once again for a true community production!
It's an especially long, cold winter in New York City, with no holiday spirit to be found. But Christmas-loving Virginia O'Hanlon sets out on a mission to change that and writes a letter to the New York Sun, asking for the truth about Santa. At first, the grouchy editor Francis Church throws the letter away, but a series of magical events soon lead him to publish an answer that inspires the whole community-- and generations to come. This heartwarming tale based on the true story features your favorite holiday music and loveable characters for all performers, promising an unforgettable experience!
Actors will spend time in peer groups where they'll bond with other students their age while still working with and learning from those older and younger than them, though all material and activities will be kept age-appropriate. Performers will spend rehearsal time singing classic holiday songs, learning dances, and exploring character study as they develop their show. They will learn skills and techniques to carry with them in any future path they choose, all while making lifelong friends and participating in the magic of live theatre. This class leads up to a weekend of performances in a real theatre, complete with simple costumes, props, and sets!

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland
Blackbox Play: Grades 5-10
Mondays, 5-7 p.m.; August 18-October 20
Colorado School of Acting Lakewood
For the second season, Stagebugz will be partnering with Colorado School of Acting for our Blackbox Production-- an acting-focused program where older students work towards performing a straight play!
After accidentally falling down a rabbit hole, the curious Alice finds herself in Wonderland, a strange place full of even stranger characters. She magically changes size, joins the Mad Hatter and March Hare for a nonsensical tea party, and encounters a host of bizarre talking animals. When she upsets the evil Queen of Hearts, her new friends must figure out how to help her escape Wonderland before the Queen enacts revenge.
The Blackbox Company is an acting-focused program designed for students of all experience levels to expand their acting toolbelts and explore personal interests and goals at their own pace. Rehearsals will dive into more advanced curriculum while allowing performers to take part in the production process and develop a true ensemble. Class time will also include games, team-building, and individual coaching, all leading up to the final blackbox-style public performances!

Teen Performance Troupe
Grades 5-12
Mondays, 5-7 p.m.; November 3-December 8
Columbine United Church
Level up your performing skills and share your talents with the world as part of Stagebugz's exciting new Performance Troupe! Performers will collaborate to develop a short show complete with music, dance, improv, and more throughout a fast-paced, six-week rehearsal process. Rehearsals will culminate in a full day of performances across the Littleton community, where performers get the star treatment with luxury transportation, lunch, special treats, at more!
The Performance Troupe will also have opportunities for additional, optional performances at various events throughout the season.
