Whether you're a snowman who sings or a winter warlock full of magic tricks, you're invited to take the stage in Stagebugz Theatre's biggest event of the year. Our SNOW MUCH TALENT VARIETY SHOW features a flurry of our shiniest stars and a festive afterparty with an unmissable silent auction and avalanche of all-you-can-eat treats!
Who can audition?
Anyone! Individuals and groups of all ages and performance styles are welcome to audition, whether or not they have previously been involved with Stagebugz.
When is the show?
The talent show will be the main attraction at Stagebugz's "Snow Much Talent Show and Fundraiser" on Thursday, December 3rd! Performers can anticipate a 5:30 PM call time, with a 6 PM curtain and an estimated end time of approximately 7:30. We ask that all participants stay for the full show unless a previous conflict has been discussed; each performer will also receive complimentary access to the afterparty.
Participants will also attend the mandatory tech rehearsal on December 2nd, scheduled from 5:30-7:30 PM, though not everyone will need to stay the full time.
What guidelines should I follow?
Each act must be no longer than 3-minutes (for individuals, duos, and trios), or 5-minutes for groups of 4+. Material should be PG- or G-rated and geared towards a family audience. Winter themes are encouraged but not required! Click the sign-up link for a full list of guidelines.
Will everyone who auditions get in?
At Stagebugz, we strive to make performing arts opportunities available to everyone and meet artists where they’re at, regardless of experience level or background. Our goal is to include as many acts as possible; however, auditioners are not guaranteed a spot in the show.
Is this a competition?
This production is meant to be a celebration of our community and an opportunity for local performers to get on stage. It is not a direct competition; however, during the show, patrons will vote on "Audience Choice Awards" to be given out to various acts at the end. There will also be a silent auction and games!
