Students of all experience levels will hone their singing and dancing skills, grow their stage presence and learn about acting through song, and gain confidence and friendships to last a lifetime!
Dates, Times, & Location
Classes will be held Thursdays, October 29th-December 3rd, from 6:00-7:15 PM.
There will be no class on Thanksgiving 11/26. An additional, optional make-up rehearsal may be scheduled according to participant interest.
Regular classes will be held at Bemis Library:
6014 S Datura St,
Littleton, CO 80120.
Performers are invited to show off what they've learned in Stagebugz's "Snow Much Talent Variety Show" on December 3rd. This performance will take place at Columbine United Church (no regular class at Bemis Library will be held).
Performances
"Winter Wonderland" will culminate in two performances for the community. In order to accommodate as many families as possible, participation in performances is encouraged but optional. Families may choose to participate in both, one, or neither.
Performances are as follows:
-
December 2nd, 5:30-7:30 - "Snow Much Talent Show" Dress Rehearsal at Columbine United Church (6375 S Platte Canyon Rd)
-
December 3rd, 6:00 PM- "Snow Much Talent Show" Performance at Columbine United Church
(6375 S Platte Canyon Rd) -
December 5th, 10:30 AM- Evergreen Winterfest Performance at Center For The Arts Evergreen (31880 Rocky Village Drive)
*Please plan for a call time of no less than 30 minutes prior to performance time. The December 2nd dress rehearsal is mandatory for performers participating in the "Snow Much Talent Show." On a case-by-case basis, we will work with families who cannot attend dress rehearsal or arrive at call time due to significant extenuating circumstances disclosed at the time of registration. If this applies, please reach out to stagebugztheatre@gmail.com to discuss.
Ages
This class is designed for students ages 7-14 (grades 2-9) of all experience levels. Participants will spend time in rehearsals as a whole group and with their age peers.
Performers outside this age range are encouraged to look into our COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS and/or audition for the upcoming SNOW MUCH TALENT VARIETY SHOW. Older students interested in the Winter Wonderland class may reach out to stagebugztheatre@gmail.com to inquire about peer mentor and internship opportunities.
Tuition
As part of our mission to provide accessible theatre education for all, this class is offered on a pay-what-you-can tuition model. Families who cannot afford full tuition are expected to pay only what is feasible for them at registration, no questions asked.
Full Tuition Value: $125
We ask for a minimum donation of $25 to secure your spot in class.
Pay-what-you-can classes do NOT mean families paying full tuition are funding other students' participation. Rather, these classes are made possible by funds raised from donations and instructors volunteering their time.
Registration includes all class materials, participation in both performances, performer access to VIP afterparty and treat bar at the "Snow Much Fun Talent Show," and performer access to activities, crafts, and photos with Santa at the "Evergreen Winterfest."
Transportation
Stagebugz is honored to have been invited to perform at Evergreen's Winterfest, however we recognize it is a far drive for Stagebugz families. As a special treat for our performers, Stagebugz is working to provide luxury limousine transportation for performers between Littleton and Evergreen on December 5th. This opportunity would require interest from at least 8 participants and an additional fee of $100/participating family (including 1 child passenger and 1 parent/guardian passenger). Please note that should we be able to move forward, families are still more than welcome to opt for their own transportation and the additional fee only applies to those who would like to ride in the limousine.
In any case, Stagebugz will work with families to facilitate carpooling and transportation assistance in any way we are able.
