Teen Performance Troupe
Grades 5-12
Mondays, 5-7 p.m.; November 3-December 8
Columbine United Church
Level up your performing skills and share your talents with the world as part of Stagebugz's exciting new Performance Troupe! Performers will collaborate to develop a short show complete with music, dance, improv, and more throughout a fast-paced, six-week rehearsal process. Rehearsals will culminate in a full day of performances across the Littleton community, where performers get the star treatment with luxury transportation, lunch, special treats, at more!
The Performance Troupe will also have opportunities for additional, optional performances at various events throughout the season.
About
The Performance Troupe is an opportunity for students to expand their performing experience, give input on the material they'd like to perform, and explore a wide range of skills in a low-pressure, short-commitment program. All participants will be accepted into the troupe (no auditions are required), and while performing experience is encouraged, it is certainly not required! Participants are encouraged to sign up even if they are only interested in certain aspects of performing (i.e. they prefer improv and acting over singing and dancing, or vice versa), as the Troupe will work on a variety of material. Class time will be spent working as a team to finalize selections, developing and improving performance skills, and rehearsing material for various performance opportunities.
The culmination for this program will be our Tour Day, where the group will travel around the Denver-metro area to spread joy with performances around the community. There will be a final showcase for friends and family at the end of the day!
